ABOUT US

Our research group, Foxtail Millet Gene Resources Group, at the Crop Science Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is dedicated to the study of foxtail millet, focusing on its origin, domestication, functional genomics, and breeding. Our team has meticulously collected and created a wide range of foxtail millet resources, including cultivated and wild varieties, core germplasm, mutant banks, and various RIL (Recombinant Inbred Line) populations. Our goal is to uncover crucial gene resources that can enhance foxtail millet production and applications. We employ a multidisciplinary approach, utilizing genomics, genetics, breeding, and molecular biology to identify genes that control essential agronomic traits. We also make efforts in the breeding and production of foxtail millet. To enable everyone to better utilize the latest data and promote the development of millet research and applications, we have constructed this database. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
